A home decor content creator with a passion for transforming spaces to be authentic, warm & welcoming. My journey online began in 2017, less than a year after my husband Shawn and I got married. Woo! It was an exciting year full of so much growth. We lived in the most adorable bungalow in Cleveland (I was attached lol) and spent weekends on home projects—redoing rooms, thrifting, antiquing, and going to flea markets. Our nights were filled with painting, blasting music, and enjoying the process of creating something beautiful together. It was so much fun!

I created my Instagram account, For The Home, as a fun way to document those projects and decorating. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion. My interest in photography started, thanks to my brother and his fiancé, who are both photographers. (Love you Chris & Nancy!) Their guidance and inspiration led me to start taking photo of my homes, which over time opened doors to content creation opportunities with brands that I love. Shortly after, we renovated our current home in the suburbs, and I documented the process which intensified my passion for all of this even more!

My background in fashion design has always fueled my love for creative expression. This blog is a natural extension of that. I love blending the old with the new, balancing high-end pieces with budget-friendly finds, and creating dynamic and fulfilling spaces. It really does fire me up! I also must say that I love a good deal. Cottage interiors hold a special place in my heart, and I love incorporating elements of that style into my designs.

Creating content and inspiring others through interiors truly brings me so much joy. We spend so much of our lives at home, and loving the space you live in is so incredibly important. I love to help people create spaces that reflect their personalities and provide comfort and warmth through my content.

But it’s not just about decor for me. I believe in inspiring people in their everyday lives—through the activities they do at home, the recipes they make, and the moments they cherish. My goal is to inspire and support you in making your home a place you love, where every corner tells a story, and every detail truly brings you joy.
