Our Kitchen Cabinet Hardware

“Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love.”

Nate Berkus couldn’t have said it any more perfectly… seriously. In my mind, this quote shouldn’t just apply to decor, this is true for all of the details you decide on before even moving furniture or decor in!

Throughout the renovation, Shawn and I have absolutely loved picking out all of the little details that often go unnoticed, yet enhance the space SO MUCH. We knew our space wouldn’t be US without them, so we really knew these details were worth the investment.

I came across Nostalgic Hardware’s Cabinet Flush Catch hardware a few years ago, when we first started designing the space. I found them on Houzz, and I bookmarked the page so that I didn’t forget about it when it was time to order hardware. I’m so happy I did that because not only did we go with Nostalgic Hardware’s cabinet pulls and latches, we ended up ordering ALL of our light switch and outlet covers from them for the entire house because we loved the quality so much.

If you haven’t noticed by now, I’ve been super inspired by English style kitchens and traditional shaker style cabinets. The cabinet catches are such a timeless, traditional detail and we were so excited to incorporate them into the space. Nostalgic Warehouse is truly the ONLY company we found in the U.S. that offered cabinet latches of such high quality. I can’t express how much hardware enhances the overall look of your kitchen cabinets. If you want to give your kitchen a little refresh, but can’t/don’t want to fully renovate it, consider just updating the hardware! We’ve done this at our current house as well and it’s such an amazing transformation!

The Solid Brass Bin Pulls were also a MUST for us for the kitchen drawers. We’ve always loved the look of bin pulls and love that Nostalgic Warehouse offers so many different options to choose from!

We chose the Antique Brass finish because we love the look, but didn’t want to wait for unlacquered brass to patina. We love this finish so much and decided to use the finish throughout the house, mixing an old and new feel to the renovation. :)

We’re so in love with our cabinet hardware and look forward to enjoying our kitchen in just a few weeks! Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Disclaimer: Since the initial brand partnership, Shawn and I have purchased all interior door hardware, switch covers and outlet covers on our own. We truly love the product and are so happy to work with such an amazing company!
