backyard bistro date night

over the weekend, Shawn and I enjoyed a backyard date night in the garden that we recently created, and I wanted to share how we created a backyard bistro setup that made the evening so special.
We started by adding waterproof solar-powered bistro string lights from Walmart. They are great quality and provided a warm, inviting glow. we wrapped them around the arbor that we built and it really was the perfect touch to the garden.
we also included a small rechargeable lamp that added a cozy touch to our table setting.
The bistro table itself is also a Walmart find, which I spray-painted to match our garden's color palette. (the original color is super pretty too!! It perfectly complements the rest of the vintage/rustic vibe we love.
We paired the table with mugs and dinnerware. I love these gingham plates I found, they’re such a great price and give a cottage feel
To make the evening extra special, we created personalized menus featuring our favorite treats: oat milk lattes and cookie croissants. The menus added a fun, intimate touch to our bistro night and made it feel like a true dining experience.
