One of the most popular pieces of furniture in my home is my sectional. I’ve had it since August 2019 and since then I’ve had hundreds and hundreds of messages and emails regarding my own personal review on the piece. I thought now would be a great time to give a review for you guys since I’ve had it for a while and I know lots of you are currently looking to purchase it!

*Update: My new sectional is the same style in the fabric Nomad Snow (white stain and odor resistant fabric) and I did a custom configuration.

comfort

This sectional is SO comfy. It is a poly/down blend so it’s cushy but you don’t completely sink in. It’s comfortable and supports you! Every guest we’ve had over has sat in it and loved it. Shawn and I have even slept overnight on the sectional which in my opinion says a lot about the comfort!

It is definitely on the lower end in terms of height off the ground. I measured and it’s about 15” off the ground. I love the depth of the seat as well, it isn’t too deep or too narrow, a little over 32” - it’s just right in my opinion!

style and functionality

Honestly, what sold me on my sectional from the get go was the modular aspect. I love that I can have a full sectional one day (ours is the five piece sectional) and the next day have a sofa with a seat detached in the corner. It’s so unique in that aspect. However, because of this, it surprisingly took us HOURS the first day it was delivered to figure out a layout that we loved. So just be ware if you have a larger sized room - you may be shifting your furniture around until you find a configuration you love. :)

The pieces aren’t too heavy so you’re able to move them around quite freely, however they are heavy enough to not shift when you sit on them. So don’t worry, you won’t fall in-between the seats. :)

The color of this sectional is Capricorn Stone, it’s a pretty light grey tone (not beige). I do wish there was a more sand/neutral color option for this sectional because I personally am not a fan of grey, but I really love the style itself so I made it work by adding lots of neutral pillows and throws!

Style-wise I really love the look of this sectional. I love the lapped seams and the tall seat cushions. It’s super casual yet elegant!

durability

The first thing we did when our sectional was delivered was Scotchgard it. Because of this we’ve had no major issues with any pet or human stains. :) I’ve only known my sectional with it being Scotchgarded so it’s hard for me to speak to the durability aspect of it prior to treating the fabric. The actual sectional fabric is a heavyweight denim, so it does hold up pretty well with my cat digging her nails in it, but she doesn’t constantly scratch at it. There are a few snags but nothing alarming by any means.

I don’t have children but I am frequently asked if I think the sectional will hold up well with kids. I personally think so especially if you Scotchgard it! Always make sure to Scotchgard in a well ventilated space, and follow the directions on the back of the can!

The seat cushions have held up quite well over the last 10 months as well. The cushions haven’t sunk in or anything like that!

To answer the most frequently asked question of all…YEPP! I highly recommend this sectional! It’s super comfortable, durable, versatile and BEAUTIFUL. You can shop all of the different style options here! I hope this post is helpful!
